Vaca Valiente

VacaValiente or how to create an innovative way to create leather products
They create leather products without the traditional limits of the industry. The multidisciplinary project of Vacavaliente looks for to create design to innovate in a native material. VacaValiente works the structural possibilities of the leather arriving at a recycled version in a 100%. “VacaValiente is our homage to the cow, as a symbol to a life without fear and haste” says his slogan. That simple words summarizes the concept with which the designers team creates products that begin of the unexplored possibilities of the leather like raw material.
The design in VacaValiente doesn't have the limitation of the applications of the traditional leather industry. The most important thing of these designs it is that the leather is worked in a structural way. The material in its habitual roller participates in the structure of the object. The excellent aspect of its designs is the ecological one: the designs that make do with a material composed of reconstituted leather fibers.
The possibilities of working the leather by outside traditions forms allow to include laminated, extended leather or channeled. The worked objects vary their designs between several collections Amigos (Photo), Accesorize, Eat and drink, Play, Habitat, and Communicate. From porthole cellular, it carries keys, carry-pills, computers desktop, carry-Profhylactics, etc. Designs of a creative way to use the raw material in abundance in Buenos Aires; The leather.
“VACAVALIENTE is our homage to the Cow, as a symbol for a life without fear and without haste " says from his website.

"La chomba qui parla" Express your daily moods in a t shirt

The ad agency in Buenos Aires called "El Jardín" (in english "The Garden") has created some communication experiments to discover new ways of interaction and relation between the people. In this case one is a new product, called: (in Italian) "La chomba qui parla" (The t shirt which talks).
This project is born from an idea: the clothes have its own form to speak, speak of our our personality, our taste, our moods, say things about how we see ourselves or how we felt every day. But the truth is that not every day we are equal, nor we have desire to say the same. Wearing "La chomba qui parla" you can write a message on it, placed a photo, the news, a drawing or a whatever you want to communicate.
The t- shirt says at every moment what the user want to say. Any person could be part of this experiment of communication, simply choose what you want to say and write it in the front of "La chomba qui parla".
Such an experiment.

Gran experimento

Mondongo: Conceptual Art / Arte Conceptual.

Mondongo: Conceptual Art (Click the images to see it in details)

Mondongo emerges onto the scene amidst the splatter of cultural alternatives that must have been one of the positive results of the crisis. They espouse a group aesthetic working closely, almost incestuously, together, sharing ideas, playing with them, pushing them around, abandoning them, and then putting into practice whatever passes the test – literally a three-pronged test that satisfies their intellectual concerns with regards the history of the medium of painting and the production of images in a society such as our own, secondly their stance to reality, and their ironic prediposition to almost anything that life serves up, a kind of modish liteness infused with critical distance.
In other words, it is a conceptual process that depends as does so much contemporary practice on the rhetoric of irony for making its points, or perhaps even more specifically on parody and pastiche. They seek to undermine systems, whatever the form, whether it be the myth of the individual artist, the author as author-ity: the idea of institutional power; or the art system itself. And they do so by rooting themselves in the popular, in the glitter of the tawdry or in the products of the super-market. It is here that they find their material in what we might call the ground level zero of consumer society – trinkets, cookies, sausages, jelly babies, threads, etc. You name it they’ll use it.
Mondongo makes their own portrait gallery where each work combines a play between material and personality: the portarit of the passionate Ruth Benzacar is constructed from matches; Britney Spears with supermarket price tags as a mass consumption pop icon; David Bowie from his brand of make-up as a glamour rock idol of the seventies; the Spanish Royal Family from small mirror fragments that suggest opulence and glitter, but also potentially carry an ironic message about Colonial power referring to the period when the Spanish Empire was built on trading glass beads for gold and also to the present moment when Argentine is living a second imperial invasion by Spanish business enterprise! These are quick takes but they revive an abandoned genre.

The real experience for the people is to make the district “Barrio Bonito” within a district. This district came real because of the joy and the commitment of the inhabitants of “La Boca”. The initiative exceeds the symbolic benefit of the brand and take it to the point that the Government of the City sees it like tourist value. BBDO work in equipment with a client with a capacity of unusual vision. All this fills to us of much pride”, indicated Carlos Perez, President of BBDO Argentina. “We were with a global campaign that it very hard has a concept in soccer, “Joga Bonito”, but that in our country generates emotions quite polarizing because its associated with the “Brazil soccer”. The challenge went to transfer it to our streets, being generated actions with much local relevance. An idea that does not come in brief became real to make “Barrio Bonito”. An idea that required long working time with Nike as well as with the authorities of the City and the involved artists. “Barrio Bonito” is neither a commercial one, nor a graph, nor nothing similar. We worked with a new concept: the Artvertising”, indicated Nicolas Pimentel, Accounts Director of BBDO Argentina.
