Flashmob: First Reverse Marathon

The First Reverse Marathon in history took place at Parque Centenario in the City of Buenos Aires on September 8th.
This flashmob was the opening event for the IX Fuga Jurásica Multimedia Experimental Art Festival , that has taken place in the Museum of Natural Sciences Bernardino Rivadavia of the City of Buenos Aires since 1998.
The idea is to make a Reverse Marathon that is related to the integral concept of this festival: “Experiencing is good”, which was created and developed by Underground School of Creatives, who are responsible for the integral communication of the event.
In order to run in reverse, there were persons who managed to fit improvised rear-view mirrors that consisted of Cds attached to their caps. Talking about mirrors, the numbers on the sweatshirts were printed on the wrong side.

Flashmob: Primer Maratón marcha atrás

El sábado 8 de septiembre se disputó la Primera Maratón Marcha Atrás de la historia , en el Parque Centenario de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
Este flashmob fue el evento de apertura del IX Festival de Arte Multimedia Experimental Fuga Jurásica , que desde 1998 se viene realizando en el Museo de Ciencias Naturales Bernardino Rivadavia de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
La idea de hacer una Maratón Marcha Atrás responde al concepto integral de este Festival: “Experimentar es bueno”, creado y desarrollado por Underground Escuela de Creativos, responsable de la comunicación integral del evento. Para correr mejor en reversa, hubo quienes se las ingeniaron en armar improvisados espejos retrovisores con Cds adosados a sus caps. Hablando de espejos: Los números en las sudaderas estaban impresos al revés.

The party have shows national and international live shows and then the party continues with Fabián Dellamónica and Djs Pareja. Cada viernes en Buenos Aires se realiza la fiesta Compass en Niceto Club. Compass es una fiesta que vira hacia la dirección del nuevo pop & rock independiente. Con shows en vivo locales e internacionales y la aplicación del concepto a la pista de baile musicalizado por Fabián Dellamónica y Djs Pareja. Interesante propuesta para recuperar las noches "Underground", tras el incendio de la discoteca Cromagnon.

Wicked BA!? debuts

For a city with such decidedly overwhelming nightlife, Buenos Aires is surprisingly short of a well-designed nightlife listings/agenda magazine. While the city could still use a weekly Time Out, Wicked!? Buenos Aires, a new bilingual arts and underground culture rag produced by crew of locals and expats, makes a big step in that direction.
The first issue of the tabloid-sized pink book, distributed in hipster stores in Palermo and the like, contains a Q&A with multimedia crazyman Fernando Peña, a quick interview between Ian Mount and the photographer Sebastián Friedman, and that nightlife agenda, from "What's Up Buenos Aires".

Wicked BA!? se lanza

Para una ciudad con una vida nocturna abrumadora, Buenos Aires está asombrosamente acotada de agendas y mapas bien diseñados. Mientras que la ciudad hasta ahora usa la revista Time Out, Wicked!? Buenos Aires, aparece para ser posicionarse como un magazine de arte y cultura underground producido por un grupo de argentinos y por autodenominados extranjeros expatriados. Con este tabloid pretenden aumentar las publicaciones para un público ávido de recorrer la ciudad.
La primera publicación tabloide - clasificado, fue distribuida en comercios " Hip" en palermo y cercanías. Contiene una entrevista con Fernando Peña, una segunda entrevista rápida de Ian Mount, a el fotográfo Sebastián Friedman, y la agenda de la vida nocturna hecha por "What's Up Buenos Aires".

ZIZEK; A club for emergent sounds


ZIZEK is a new club dedicated to the emergent sounds of the Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaetón, Cumbia with new styles like Grime, Crunk, Bastard Pop and Mashups. Every wednesday the party take part with artists, DJs and producers that mix the music alive from a new optical. Differents sounds from modern urban music stay there.
The Residents Djs called "Villa Diamante", and "Nim".They will be the ones in charging the pulse of the nights of "Zizek". With its particular sound bastard, Villa Diamante will fire the tracks with his mashups starting off of hip-hop for other emergent rates. "Nim" will unfold its arsenal of futurist sounds from the Hip-hop, Dancehall and Grime.
The place is "X Vos Buenos Aires". 563 Balcarce st, San Telmo.
The premises located in the heart of San Telmo, with capacity for 600 people. It has scene for live bands: Excellent sound, bars and illumination.

ZIZEK; Un club para sonidos emergentes


ZIZEK es un nuevo club dedicado a los sonidos emergentes del Hip Hop, Dancehall, Reggaetón, Cumbia y sus nuevas variantes Grime, Crunk, Bastard Pop y Mashups. Cada miércoles se dará espacio a artistas, DJs y productores que reinterpretan desde nuevas ópticas las diferentes sonoridades de la música urbana moderna.
Los DJs Residentes "Villa Diamante",y "Nim" serán los encargados de marcar el pulso de las noches de "Zizek". Con su particular sonido bastard, "Villa Diamante" encendera la pista con sus mashups partiendo del hip-hop hacia otros ritmos emergentes. "Nim" desplegará su arsenal de sonidos futuristas derivados del Hip-hop, Dancehall y Grime.
El lugar es "X Vos Buenos Aires". Balcarce 563, San Telmo.
Local ubicado en el corazón de San Telmo, con capacidad para 600 personas. Posee escenario para bandas en vivo; Excelente sonido, barras e iluminación.

The scene of Drum and Bass is growing up by the hand of the most creatives musicians and graphic designers who make the visuals as VJs.The Resident dj for the "+160 Drum and Bass Suite" and the owner of the party is "Bad Boy Orange" who have his own personal radio programme at www.metro951.com.
The place is a club called Bahrein into the pedestrian street, Lavalle in the centre of Buenos Aires. The atmosphere on tuesdays nights turns in a music lab alive with good djs, vjs (video jockeys)and Tjs (text jockeys). Drum and Bass came back to Buenos Aires and don't want to go away.
